Level 1 Charging

Chargers with this type of charging use a special extension cord which you can plug into the outlet with the house voltage of 120 volts. This type of charging does not need a capacity upgrade. However, when you use a Level I charger, it should be on its own dedicated circuit.

Level 1, charger is slow and can take days to charge some vehicles. If you want to have a fast charging, you might want to consider level 2.

Level 2 Charging

Level 2 Charging needs 240 volts circuit. One of our expert electricians familiar with EV charger installations will determine whether or not your existing electric panel can handle the new circuit. If not, you will need to upgrade your electric panel before the charger can be installed. Level 2 chargers are fast and you can charge your car overnight.
